About the role

- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, and dressing.

- Help patients move around, get out of bed, and transfer between wheelchairs or beds.

- Take and record vital signs like temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and report concerns to nurses.

- Help with meal preparation and assist patients with eating and drinking.

- Maintain a clean and safe living space for the patient, including changing linens and cleaning up spills.

- Listen to patient concerns, provide companionship, and communicate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
